I have been pet sitting for over 15 years right here in Phoenix, and have recently retired from the field to have my hands on helping manage our staff and make sure our business is working the best it can for our sitters, our pet parents, and their animal families! Hand and Hound is my full-time job, and I am dedicated to making sure our staff performs their jobs to the highest standard so you always know your pets are safe and happy.

My name is Aspen and I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree in PreVeterinary medicine. I have lots of experience in working with dogs and cats in the field, such as: animal shelters, animal hospitals, doggie daycares, etc. I’m very passionate about my goals and that translates 100% into my pet sitting! I love dogs and cats with my whole heart and can’t wait to meet yours! I’m looking forward to working together to bring your pet the best care and love.

Hi, I’m Tamera! I consider myself an “honorary native” to Arizona having lived here since I was young. When I’m not working as a graphic designer, I love spending time with animals. Pet sitting is something I enjoy doing because it’s such a great feeling knowing pets are comfortable and cared for while their families are away. At home, I have a tuxedo cat named Bruce who loves cheese sticks and bird watching. I’m always learning more about caring for pets and hoping to one day begin fostering kittens. In the meantime, I enjoy supporting both HALO Rescue and neighborhood feral cat community education.

Greetings! My name is Tonya and I started my adventures in pet sitting in 2025. I had been a preschool teacher for a decade and was in between contracts when my new neighbor "did a thing" and brought home a mini schnauzer puppy. The pet nanny door flung open wide for me to care for little Remi throughout the day during the week. Word got around and I found myself taking care of neighborhood pets vs going back into the classroom. I've found that caring for animals is very similar to caring for toddlers! I love spending my days giving my clients peace of mind in being away from home, knowing that their pets are loved and cared for.
